Organized Crime Or Venerable Institution?
Many of you are also aware of the organized crime syndicate with headquarters at 11 Wall Street in Lower Manhattan. Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that every hard working, tax paying employee who clocks in each day at the above address is a criminal. Most of them are just like you and I. Raised in households ranging from working class poor, right up to the socially and financially elite. Most simply went to school, got a job and are NOW trying to secure their own personal slice of the American dream.
Now before you cast too many aspersions on the tin-foil kooks (like myself) who take issues with the Fed and nefarious practices such as Naked Shorting, I assure you that to a man or woman, not one of those perps destroying private property and defecating on public streets under the guise of "Occupying Wall Street" were not the anti Fed crowd. Not really...
Eliminating the Fed, returning to the gold standard, adopting sane monetary policy, abolishing the welfare state, repealing Roe v. Wade, these are amongst a few of the things that do matter to the anti-fed crowd. However, certainly not punishing innocent traders for the actions of those who are "too big to fail" and now obviously "too big to jail". Will there always be a fringe element amongst every group, tribe, community and nation who have fallen so far down the rabbit hole they forgot the Mad Hatter promised to spike the Kool-Aide?
