Thursday is "Official Rollover Day". The Zone remains the same...
Rollover day is when traders switch or begin switching from trading the current contract (Sept) that will expire this quarter to the contract that will expire next quarter (Dec).
The futures contracts that we focus on primarily are the S&P 500 Emini / ES and the Dow Emini / YM. They expire on the third Friday of the months of March (H), June (M), September (U) and December (Z). The rollover days, however, are 8 days before expiration on the second Thursday of each of these months. These months have the letter designations H, M, U, and Z.
Make sure your Charts and Dom are on the same month. Follow Michael's lead in the live room tomorrow. If you have any additional questions or concerns, call Burt at 1-866-928-3310.
As much as some would have you believe otherwise - it's a huge non-event 4 times a year. One word of caution. If you are charting September and executing on December, then it becomes an issue. Once again, make sure your Dom and Chart are both on ESU1 or ESZ1 for the S&P and YMU1 or YMZ1 for the Dow Emini. Michael, myself and Burt will be available to answer any questions.
